BROADER IDR COMMUNITY
Open to all.
STUDENT ORGANIZATION MEMBERSHIP
There are two requirements for membership:
- Have demonstrated interest in interdisciplinary research by contacting a member of the IDR Honor Society,
- General support/volunteering on the events and doings of the Society.
HONOR SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP
There are two classes of membership in the honor society: Full and Associate.
The requirements for Full Graduate Membership are:
- Completion of at least 12 graded credit hours as a degree-seeking graduate student,
- A grade point average that is greater than or equal to 3.7,
- Have demonstrated initial research success and noteworthy achievement as an original investigator of interdisciplinary research,
- Provide significant contribution to the local IΔΡ chapter.
Full graduate members are voting members.
The requirements for Full Undergraduate Membership are:
- Completion of at least 12 graded credit hours as a degree-seeking undergraduate student,
- A grade point average that is greater than or equal to 3.7,
- Have demonstrated research skills in aiding an original investigator of interdisciplinary research,
- Willing to provide significant contribution to the local IΔΡ chapter.
Full undergraduate members are voting members.
The requirements for Associate Membership are:
- Have demonstrated sincere belief in the society and its mission by pursuing interdisciplinary
research, - Provide significant contribution to the local IΔΡ chapter.
Associate members are non-voting members.
Application for membership in the Honor Society is open during a specific application period in both the fall and spring semesters (please see ‘Application Procedures’). Membership in the Student Organization is open year around.
