Inaugural IDR Fall 2017 Meeting

Hello fellow IDR members!

I hope your Fall semester has been going well so far! I would like to invite all of you to our first IDR General Meeting on Tuesday, October 3rd from 12-1pm in GLC Meeting Room C. This meeting will be a brown bag lunch event, so bring your own lunch and come meet with myself, the other IDR executive officers, and other members!

At this meeting we will discuss upcoming items/events, open applications for membership, and we’d also like to have 2 IDR members present their research at the meeting! If you’re interested in presenting, please let me know ASAP. This will be a ~10min informal presentation to the group followed by time for questions and discussion. This is the perfect opportunity to get questions and insight from an interdisciplinary audience. Feel free to either present completed/progressing work or pose any questions/difficulties you may be having so that those in attendance can possibly help!

If you know of anyone interested in becoming a member of IDR, feel free to bring them along!

I hope to see you all there!

Call for volunteers – GSA Symposium

The GSA is hosting their annual symposium on March 29th and they are looking for volunteers to help out with the event. This year IDR is a co-sponsor, so it would be great if we could get a good showing of IDR member volunteers! If you are willing to help with the symposium, just let me know of your availability between 9 am and 8 pm on the 29th. Also, all volunteers will be treated to a happy hour event that evening courtesy of GSA! Thank you and we look forward to seeing you there!
